Nashville schools announced closures for snow days on Thursday, Feb. 18, as the weather forecast an additional one to there inches.
Nashville District 49 Superintendent Mike Brink said the decision to close was based on the road conditions in some areas of the district. The day, like the other closures this week, are to be treated as traditional snow days with no remote learning required.
Nashville High School also announced a snow day for Thursday.
After being closed since last week due to President’s Day and weather, the Washington County Justice Center, county offices and Courthouse are expected to be open on Thursday, Sheriff Len Campbell said.
