The Nashville Fire Protection District were called to a chimney fire on East St. Louis Street Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.
A source confirms that the residence belongs to retired former Chief Justice Lloyd Karmeier. There were also reports of flames shooting out of the chimney before emergency personnel arrived.
The fire call was several responses that emergency personnel were called to Tuesday. Earlier that afternoon, a significant house fire was reported in Richview.
