The Washington County Health Department reported two additional cases of COVID-19 in the county, according to a press release Friday.
The new cases included one male in his 50s and one male in his 70s. The county also reported two cases on Wednesday and two on Monday, for a total of six this week.
The total count for Washington County now sits at 1,639 with three active and no hospitalizations. There have been 1,618 released from isolation, 66 total hospitalizations and 29 deaths.
There were six positive cases reported during the week of April 11 to 17. The test positivity rate was 2.7 percent with 264 tests performed.
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, Washington County has administered 8,925 vaccine doses and 31.56 percent of the population has been vaccinated.
