The Washington County Health Department reported six new COVID-19 cases Thursday.
The citizens included one female 8 to 10 years old; one female in her 20s; one female and one male in their 30s; and two females in their 50s.
The total active cases in Washington County are 1,654, with nine total active and one active hospitalization. There have been 1,627 released from isolation and 67 total hospitalized.
Statewide, Friday marked the beginning of a Bridge phase in Illinois, which lightened restrictions. The next phase in the Restore Illinois is Phase Five, which allows activities to resume normal.
