Nashville’s senior power hitter and center fielder Gavin Baldwin has been named to the All-State team.
According to The Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Twitter page, Baldwin was listed on the Class 2A All-State Team.
The Hornets went 23-10 this season. Baldwin batted an average .469 during 129 plate appearances and 98 at-bats during 2021 play. He led the Hornets in total 46 hits, including 13 doubles, two triples and 11 home runs. He was also the team leader in runs batted in with 51 total.
