The Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi Conference named its 2021 All-Conference teams, and several Hornets made the honor list.
According to the SIRR Conference Twitter page, senior outfielder Gavin Baldwin, senior infielders Cole Malawy and Ian Blazier, senior designated hitter Boomer Harris, junior catcher Nolan Heggemeier and sophomore pitcher Trey Reinburg were all named to the SIRR-Mississippi All-Conference first team.
Earning second team all-conference honors included senior outfielder Logan Eversgerd and utility player Buzz Ritzel.
The Hornets went 23-10 this spring, including a perfect 10-0 record in conference play for the title and a regional championship.
