The Southern Illinois River-to-River released its team list of All-Conference softball players, and many Hornettes made the list.
A total of nine Nashville players were named to either the SIRR Mississippi All-Conference first and second teams.
Senior pitcher Josie Woodrome, sophomore catcher Valerie Combs, senior infielder Whitley Hunter, junior outfielder Jordan Donato and sophomore Colleen Jahnke made the first team.
Sophomore infielder Jill Kuhl, sophomore outfielder Ryan Stiegman and junior utility Emma Paszkiewicz received second all-conference team honors.
The Hornettes closed out a stellar spring season with a 24-5 record. A couple of highlights include nabbing its 800th win in program history and a 15-game winning streak.
An earlier version of this story listed Anna-Jonesboro Peyton Seip as one of the Hornettes who made All-Conference. This was due to a misprint on the Twitter release.
