Hornet shortstop Cole Malawy will soon be heading to Olney.
Malawy announced and signed his letter of intent to become a Blue Knight next season.
According to MaxPreps, Malawy connected on average .341 this season. He had 31 hits with 7 doubles and 1 home run. He also brought in 30 RBIs. His fielding percentage on the year was .950 with 80 total chances, and he lead the te=m in double plays with 5 on the season.
The Hornets finished 23-10 this season and won their sixth consecutive regional title.
The Blue Knights finished 32-21 this past season.
