A downpour Friday afternoon cause flooding issues throughout the city, including Memorial Park.
A reported 2 to 3 inches of rain caused Nashville Creek, which runs through the city as well as the park, to overflow. The bridge and road leading to the Nashville Municipal Golf Course was completely impassable.
Those visiting the park are asked to stay on high grounds until the waters subside. Other areas experiencing some flash flood warnings include Okawville, Wamac, Lively Grove, Irvington, Ashley,Posen, Beaucoup, Hoyleton, Johannisburg, Covington, Richview, Addieville, Oakdale, Radom, New Minden, Du Bois, Venedy, Cordes and Huegely.
