The final event of this year’s Washington County Fair was big spectacle with hundreds in attendance watched the annual demolition derby.
The rains on Friday had canceled the fair’s events, but the muddy conditions created a dirty derby slugfest with the first two rows warned that clumps will be slinging throughout the evening.
Terry Pelczynski took first and Drew Dalman finished second in the semi-stock derby.
Trevor Jones won the first in the mini-car competition. He said he had entered his vehicle in three other derbies and won each time.
