The Washington County Health Department announced 15 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in county residents over the past couple of days.
The announcement stated that the new cases included three ages 6 to 10 years old; one 11 to 15 year old; one 16 to 19 year old; one in their 20s; four in their 30s; one in their 40s; two in their 60s; and two in their 80s.

The Illinois Department of Public Health released statistics Friday showing that the entire state continues to transmit COVID-19 at high rates. Washington County remains under warning as it reports a daily positivity rate of 9.2 percent.
Earlier this week, the health department reported 19 on Monday and 19 more on Wednesday.
