Nashville’s Olivia Verges and Brayden Hunter have qualified to compete in the Class 1A State Cross Country meet in Peoria.
According to official results, Verges finished 15th overall with a time of 20:24.78. Hunter came in 19th place with 17:09.04, helping the Hornets finish 8th overall with a score of 225.
The state meet will be held this coming Saturday.
