Feel Good Friday Nov. 12

Happy Friday! Here is a roundup of some good news spotted this week:

Nashville Hometown Christmas announced earlier this week that the large Christmas tree has arrived in front of city hall.

Head over to the Facebook to get more news about the festival, which will be held the first weekend in December.


Nashville Chamber of Commerce announced that Santa is coming back to town for his annual residency at the L&N Depot. The Jolly Old Elf and Mrs. Claus will arrive on an antique fire truck on Saturday, Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. Area families will get a chance to meet and greet for photos. There will also be free carriage rides.

St. Ann’s students went to Farmer Mike’s to attend the bishop’s annual blessing of the animals.


Congrats on a great cross country season to Nashville’s Olivia Verges and Brayden Hunter! Verges finished the state girls’ race in 20:02.12 while Hunter completed in 16:48.70 for the boys race.

Nashville’s Hazel Konkel qualified for the state swimming meet, which was being held today and tomorrow.
