A 25-year-old Hoyleton man was airlifted from the scene after a car accident in Marion County Friday morning.
According to WJBD, the Jacob Wacker was traveling south on Interstate 57 near the Farina exit at 7:23 a.m. when the SUV struck the rear end of a semi-trailer that was stopped in the lane due to a previous crash.
The driver of the semi — Michael Wilson, 46, of Plant City, FL — refused medical treatment.
