Turner, Ridgeway receive all-state team honors

The Illinois High School Football Coaches Associate released the 2021 All-State teams on Tuesday.

Hornet wide receiver Isaac Turner maneuvers around a Carterville defender earlier this season.

Isaac Turner, wide receiver for the Hornets, was selected for the Class 2A team.

Hornet offensive lineman Kade Ridgeway was listed on the all-state honorable mention team.

Nashville is on a nearly identical path en route to the Class 2A state championship game. The Hornets take on the St. Teresa Bulldogs at home on Saturday.
