Those looking to give a local dog or cat a happy home this holiday season can find their new companion at Washington County, and for a limited time, the adoption costs are taken care of.
The Washington County Animal Control announced on Thursday that an anonymous sponsor has agreed to cover the costs for all adoptions through the shelter until Dec. 6.
The good news comes one day after the shelter posted on Facebook that the kennels were completely full
