It’s Friday, and a special day with the opening of several December favorites.
The first-ever Lighted Christmas Parade stepped off this evening, and lots of people packed the Main Street. We will be posting a separate gallery and story later this weekend.
The Blue Room has won the online contest, making it the December “Best Dive Alive,” according to Bi-State Entertainment.The YouTube show will be paying them a visit in the near future.
Washington County Animal Control reported a busy day Friday, responding to more than 150 messages in a day. An anonymous sponsor agreed to pay the adoption fees for pets from the shelter through Dec. 6.
