The Washington County Health Department announced Monday that there have been 28 new cases of COVID in the county for the week of Nov. 30 to Dec. 6.
The residents include two ages 11-15 years old; one 16-19 years old; four in their 20s; four in their 30s; four in their 40s; five in their 50s; three in their 60s; and five in their 70s.
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, the entire state remains an area of high transmission.The test positivity rate is at 10 percent.
