Emergency personnel were called to Gateway FS on North Mill Street in Nashville on Thursday afternoon after reports of smoke coming from a grain bin on the property.
The fire was reported around 4:15 p.m. Traffic was routed to Kaskaskia Street as area firefighters battled the blaze. Scanner traffic an hour after the initial call reported the sighting of deep smoke coming from a hole that was cut into the bin.
Traffic for 127 was reopened for both lanes at 6:25 p.m. All units were cleared by 6:58 p.m.
Responding units included Nashville Fire Protection District, Addieville Fire Protection District, Hoyleton Fire Department, Ashley Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County ESDA.

Looks like North Mill. I have childhood memories of a huge fire there.
