Students at Trinity-St. John School in Nashville donated several items that will help several families this holiday season.
The nonprofit organization Basket of Hope said Saturday that TSJ brought in the large donation, which will go to help 25 families who have children diagnosed with serious illnesses. The families will get the opportunity to come out and shop the warehouse for Christmas. Each family will get to fill a large blue cart with toys and new home goods.

According to Basket of Hope’s website, the mission “is to give hope to children diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness through the delivery of a Basket of Hope filled with toys, games, craft items, stuffed animals, gift cards, and other items. Hope Totes are optional for the parents and contain gifts to nourish them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.”
