The Nashville Police Department held its annual Shop With A Cop tradition this weekend. Just like last year, the NPD opted to alter its holiday giving program to deliver gift bags to area families.
“We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the happiness this brought to several kids and their families,” the NPD said. “We also enjoyed seeing some of them playing with the lights, sirens, and radios in our squad cars. We hope everyone has a great and safe holiday season! We also want to sincerely thank all who donated to make this possible. “
One parent commented on the post that she appreciated the NPD for making her “girls smile from ear to ear!”
