Feel Good Friday: December 17

Welcome to Friday and another edition of Feel Good Friday, the column that highlights some of the positive news of the week.

Holiday Happenings:

Santa will be at the L&N Depot in Nashville this week. The times are Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Get those last minute requests in before Christmas.

The Coulterville Holiday Light Display was able to donate $1,500 to assist in disaster relief from the tornado damage last week in Kentucky.

The lights display is open nightly from dusk until 9 p.m. Those who come out this weekend can see an assortment of characters at the spectacle and also could take a picture with the Griswold Car and tag Kirkpatrick Motors in your picture for a chance to win a $200 gift card.

Lots of area schools are on their winter breaks and celebrated the end of the quarter and first semester holiday-style.

There was wrapping relay at Trinity St. John:

Mrs. Hake got a special send off from Nashville Community High School after 25 years. Good luck on your retirement!
