The Felician Wellness Center is aiming to bringing together the best practices for its Nutrition and Exercise Training Program (NExT). The adult wellness program will be available at two locations this January — the Conference Center at the Centralia Recreational Complex and the YMCA of Jefferson County in Mt. Vernon.
The program meets twice weekly for six weeks, and it emphasizes exercise and portion control as a means of weight loss and control. Those who enroll in the NExT Program will receive tips that promote behavior changes and resources to help them meet their personal fitness and wellness goals.
“Above all the Next Program will be entertaining, informative and there will be many opportunities for you to network with others who may have similar experiences,” the post said.
Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. The NEsT Program costs $30, and financial assistance is available.
