McKendree University men’s basketball junior and Nashville Community High School alum Bryson Bultman secured his spot in Bearcat history Wednesday night, scoring his 1,000th point.
The 6’5″ guard scored the milestone bucket on his first score within the second minute of the season home finale against Lindenwood. The Bearcats (13-10, 9-10 in GLVC) came up short, 78-74, in the Great Lakes Valley Conference game.
Bultman ended the game with 21 points. He was also able to extend his double figure scoring streak to 21 consecutive games. He has scored 20 or more points during 13 games this season. He has now scored 1,020 points in his McKendree career.
The milestone comes during the same week that Bultman was named the GLVC Player of the Week. It was the first time in his Bearcat career that he was named the distinction. Bultman is the first Bearcat men’s basketball player to earn the accolade since 2020.
Bultman is the 52nd member of McKendree’s 1,000-Point Club.
